Nawapon Nuangjumnong: Building for the web since 2016.

I'm Nawapon, a survey engineer and full-stack developer in Bangkok. I make point clouds, drones and maps work in the browser.

  1. 2016

    1st in Thailand, Web Applications

    Gold medal and first place at the 66th National Student Arts and Crafts Competition, Web Applications category (grades 10–12), as a two-person team from Nakhonsawan School.

  2. 2020

    Survey Engineering, Chulalongkorn University

    Photogrammetry, GNSS and remote sensing. Graduated 2024.

  3. 2023

    Provincial Waterworks Authority, internship

    Built a machine learning model to predict water meter failures, and a web mapping app for field inspection data.

  4. 2023

    I-BITZ, freelance developer

    Built an open-source QGIS plugin that shows live IoT sensor data (water level, temperature, vibration) on the map.

  5. 2024

    1st in Southeast Asia, RPD Challenge 2023

    First place in GISTDA's Rapid Prototype Development Challenge with team REC from Chulalongkorn University, building with GNSS, remote sensing and web development. Awarded by GISTDA and Sony (Japan).

    Prize trip to Mie, Japan

    The prize for winning the RPD Challenge 2023. Presented our disaster management system to international teams at a workshop funded by the Cabinet Office of Japan, GISTDA and Sony.

Drone 3D Point Cloud & Defect Detection

Web app that registers and aligns point clouds from a Flyability Elios 3 drone across a 7 km underground tunnel network, georeferences them, and detects and reports defects in interactive 3D.

Assets AI: Roadside Asset Detection & Mapping

Computer vision pipeline that detects roadside assets and places them on the map, converting pixel positions to real coordinates through camera calibration and GCPs.

QGIS IoT Sensor Dashboard Plugin
